Principal's Message

Dear Love T. Nolan Family,

Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Love T Nolan Elementary! It is with great OWL pride and excitement that I greet each of you as we begin another chapter in our journey together. As your Principal, I am thrilled to reflect on the incredible accomplishments we achieved last year together as one united family.

First and foremost, we successfully merged 2 schools into one heart creating a vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. This monumental transition was made possible by the unwavering support of our students, families, and YOU- are dedicated staff. We are proud to share that our efforts to improve student attendance have paid off! Our chronically absent student rate decreased from 23.7% to 17.2%. Academically, our students are soaring! According to iReady data, we have seen a significant increase in the number of students scoring above grade level and early on grade level in both Reading and Math. This growth is a testament to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and support of our families.

In addition, we proudly launched several initiatives that enhance student engagement and leadership such as student clubs that foster creativity, collaboration, and curiosity, Leader in Me by empowering students to take ownership of their learning and behavior and our Monthly PBIS Celebrations by recognizing and rewarding positive behavior school wide. These programs have brought joy, structure, and a sense of belonging to our students and we look forward to building this momentum in the year ahead.

As we look ahead to the 25-26 school year, we are excited to continue this upward trajectory with adding several key initiatives. We will fine tune our Tier 1 instruction and provide early interventions to meet the needs of all students. We will launch our House Team system to further support PBIS and build school spirit. Finally, our School-Based Health Clinic will open this school year to serve our students.

As we step into this new school year, let us continue to work hand in hand celebrating our success, embracing new changes, and always striving to be Better Together. I look forward to working alongside you in what promises to be an extraordinary school year. With much LOVE and RESPECT,
